Good News 18/3/21

We’re really happy to be reopening the Zip Park on Friday, 2nd April 2021 subject to the current Scottish Govt regulations. Our online booking is ready for bookings and we’ve used the downtime to add more zips to our Zip Adventure course. See you all soon!

Zip Park Update 20/12/20

Unfortunately due to the Scottish Government’s recent announcement of a countrywide Level 4 Lockdown we will be closing the Zip Park on the 26th December for the duration of the restrictions. We will be reopening as soon as allowed.
We will be contacting every customer with cancelled bookings over the next few days. For more information regarding cancelled bookings, you can contact us on 01540 651784 or by email.

Zip Park Update 25/9/20

We are still open and operating as normal with a maximum group size of eight people.

Pre Booking, hand washing, one way systems, social distancing and enhanced cleaning all still working well.

Please bring a face covering for the Zip trek for everyone in your group including Children.

Zip Park Update 15/7/20

The Zip Trek and Zip Adventure are now with new operating procedures.

You will need to pre book and please bring a face covering for everyone in your party including children for the Zip Trek.

Re-opening of the Zip Park update 15/6/20

Currently we plan to reopen our Zip Adventure course as it allows social distancing for customers and staff. We can’t yet operate the Zip Trek course under current guidelines.

The Zip Park new normal looks like this:

We have reduced group sizes and increased the adult supervision ratios to make social distancing easier.

We now only take advance bookings, either through our website or by phoning the office.

Please respect our staff and other customers by social distancing at all times and keep away from the kitting up area until the start time of your booking.

We will operate a one way system through the Zip Park from when you arrive.

On arrival, please visit our handwashing station.

You will kit yourselves up under the supervision of our Zip Guides. We will issue you with disposable gloves before you get kitted out. We will require you to wear them at all times.

While on the course you will need to be more self reliant as our guides will keep socially distant from you except in emergency situations.

We will ask household groups to stay at least two zip wires from other family / household groups when they are on the course.

You will need to physically able to complete the course. You need to be able to land and stand up at the end of each wire unaided, may need to pull yourself along the wire if you slow down before the end of the wire and adults will be responsible for helping kids and vulnerable adults in their group.

There is a video on our Zip Adventure page – please watch this to check you are physically able to complete the course unaided.

Adults will need to be able to help and supervise the kids they are responsible for.

All equipment will be appropriately cleaned between each use.

Update 23/3/20

Due to the Government Coronavirus advice regarding social distancing and unnecessary travel, the Zip Park is now closed and all bookings are postponed. Please bear with us during this difficult time while we find the best way forward. Look after yourselves!
